May Monthly Meeting, Wednesday, May 22nd at 7:00 PM. We’ll meet representatives from the Northeast Arizona Native Democrats. Arizona Native Democrats are a key component to tilting the state Blue and getting President Biden re-elected. We’ll write postcards and letters for Arizona.

June Monthly Meeting, Wednesday, June 26th at 7:00 PM. We’ll hear about the impactful work Sister District South Bay is doing to flip State Legislatures. We’ll be writing letters as well.

All of our in-person meetings begin with a potluck dinner and time to socialize with other members. Join us at 6:30 PM at 400 W Campbell, Campbell, CA to enjoy good food and good friends, before the in-person meeting begins.

Donations to the Food Pantry are always appreciated! Here are some suggested items.

  • Plastic and paper bags with handles, and Ziplock bags, all sizes

  • Bottled and carton beverages like water, tea milk & juices for families and individuals

  • Boxed Pastas and Canned Pasta Sauce, Pancake Mix, Snacks

  • Spam, Vienna Sausages, Canned Veggies and Fruits, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Noodle packs

  • Chunky Canned Meals

  • Hygiene products

Previous Meetings

April Meeting, Wednesday, April 24th, 2024. We were honored to be joined by Rudy Salas, the Democratic Candidate for district CA-22. A victory here is needed to help win back the House. We learned that the key to victory is turnout. Frequent contact with voters is critical to getting out the vote. Slides are here. Recording is here.

March Meeting, Wednesday, March 27th, 2024. We were joined by Emily Wasserman, Senior Director of Data and Research at Vote Forward. We learned about the success of letter writing and exciting ideas they are going to try with future campaigns. Slides are here.

February Meeting, Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 We met Adam Gray from CA-13, who is challenging the Republican incumbent. We learned about this high priority district and key issues for voters there. We also heard from former Palo Alto Mayor and former NAMI* Santa Clara County Board Co-President, Victor Ojakian, for an informative discussion of Proposition 1. Finally, John Comiskey reviewed the candidates endorsed by the SCC Democratic Party. Slides are here. Recording is here.

January Kickoff Meeting: Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 We discussed the Swing Left Super State strategy, wrote postcards for Tom Suozzi in NY-03, and signed up to volunteer for various GOTV activities such as letter writing and canvassing. Slides are here.

October Meeting: Wednesday, October 25. We heard Dr. Ruth Ben-Ghiat discuss the capture of the Republican party and why mobilization to defend democracy is ever more critical in today’s world. You can find the recording here.

September Meeting: Wednesday, September 27th 2023. Robin Cole, President of the Tracy Dems, gave us an update from this critical Central Valley organization that supports Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. Slides are here.

August Meeting: Wednesday, August 23rd 2023. Maureen Sheehan, a member of the leadership team at Sister District South Bay, spoke to us about their efforts to elect progressive candidates to State Legislatures.

July Meeting: Wednesday, July 26th 2023. We heard Vote Forward’s Senior Director of Data & Research, Emily Wasserman, share some of the insights from recent campaigns to voters in swing districts. Slides are here.
